Faraway Skies

I've dedicated this weekend to a Buffy The Vampire Slayer marathon. Buffython? School has been stressful so far and I am in need of a desperate lazy day! I've noticed something with all the vampire shows though; what is it with male lead vampires looking freakishly similar? Angel, Edward, Stephen; there all broody, hot and have great hair! Not that I'm complaining mind, Angel is worthy of a two syllable damn! How is everyone's week going? I'd love to hear about it!xo

Bonjour! It's been such a good day today! You know when you just laugh and laugh, the sun is shining and you get the best five potato waffles at lunch? Yeah. Good times. The little things in life! And my sister found this real cute field even though it was home to a bunch of cows. I hate farm animals, they scare to bejesus out of me. Hugs and kisses!

1. I had to take the bus to school.
2. My hair just would not go right AT ALL.
3. I found out I have three exams in one day. THREE EXAMS (mental breakdown soon to come).
4. It rained
5. ^I did not bring my umbrella.
6. ^Resulting in the drowned rat look.
7. My bag broke.

So yeah. I'm am seriously stressing out about these three exams, I mean, who the hell schedule's two English and a geography exam in one day?! MY BRAIN IS GOING TO OVERLOAD WITH INFORMATION ABOUT PYROCLASTIC FLOWS AND HOW TO WRITE FORMAL LETTERS! I'll probably end up writing that a waterfall is formed from metephors and enjombement and Emily Bennett Browning used figurative language in Sonnet 43 because carbon emissions are heating up the atmosphere. Sweet baby Jesus, I'm going to be needing a paper bag soon!

So I'm back! Note to any of you guys thinking of paying a visit to Cornwall in March: don't, it's freezing! I spent the whole week in jeans (sigh) and thick jumpers, jumping up and down to get the circulation going in my toes! It's safe to say that packing a floral play suit and loafers wasn't the best idea I've ever had!
Regardless of the terrible Cornish weather, Cornwall is such a beautiful to visit! We had a little stone cottage (it was tiny...does that count as a cottage?) overlooking the sea in Penzance and we had a great view of Saint Michael's Mount which my dad informed me had been in the Aubyn family for about six hundred years! Kind of creepy living in a castle that is only accessible during low tide though, isn't it?
Visiting Land's End again was an experience. We picked one of the coldest days to visit the end of the United Kingdom and I couldn't even feel my hands by the time we left! If your ever in the area, it's definitely worth a visit! As well as some shops and a café, Land's End offers a picturesque coastal walkway with absolutely stunning views; just remember to wrap up warm!

Hello! It's been a few days since I've posted anything, my week has been really busy! Or rather, I've had about four really good books I wanted to read and by the time I stop, it's too late to post! Sorry guys, but I've been reading The Host by Stephanie Mayer (team Ian, he's so much better than Jared!) and I just haven't been able to put it down! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE! It looks amaaaaaazing!
Anyway, so apart from today, the weather here in Wales has actually been pretty nice! Believe it or not, us welsh folk saw some sun on Tuesday! Shocking, I know? So Molly and I took advantage of the weather and took a little hike up to Pontypool Park to take some cute, spring photos. It's so nice to wear something colourful and light. I can't wait to show my legs off in the pretty floral dresses that will soon be adorning shops everywhere and with the festival season coming up, making a new flower crown. This tutorial is great if your interested!
