Faraway Skies

I wore this Urban Outfitters midi skirt a few posts ago but I love it so much it's become a main autumn staple of my wardrobe! I adore it's 1950's feeling plus the autumn colours; all I need is a few nets underneath! Midi skirts are the best for this in between weather, I saw a great example of the midi-skirt-and-jumper combo on Mary Manaila's post Seasonal Transition on her blog, Teen Fashion Diary. Anyone who has read this blog can probably tell I have a soft spot for hues of cream and pink!xo

It's in the last days of summer that you start to think of all the things you should have done. You should have brought those flip-flops. You should have gone to the beach before it started to rain. You should have probably eaten less cake. But this summer, I don't really have any summer regrets. Well, I probably should have eaten less cake but hey, not to quote The Fault In Our Stars or anything, but I'm not one to deny the simple pleasures in life. So it's back to school in three days where I'll be trying not to regret being excited to go back. For those who are already in school, I feel for you. I really do!
